Cinzia Battistel -Idea di paesaggio-

Cinzia Battistel was born in Milan in 1963, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan; she paints interpretations of the landscape working in watercolour, ink and acrylic gouache, on canvas or on Fabriano paper. She has been invited to various art exhibitions in Milan, Turin, Venice, Pesaro, Senigallia, Japan. Exhibit in a solo show in the Bracci-Pagani Museum System in Fano. Moving from the city to the countryside she developed a passion for the landscape, already present in her work as a set designer for the major Italian animated films and as a nature illustrator. He teaches set design and landscape design for cinema at the Milan film school animated. She is the author of art books for children for Il Sole 24 and animated television series for Rai. Having moved to the Marche in 2009, she investigates the lines and forms of nature, under the influence of the suggestions of Giacomelli, Burri and Pericoli. A moment of meditation, of mental construction, of dream and imagination, in search of balance between the individual and the universe, which often leads to abstraction. Even in the smallest glimpses, places made of silence and shadows, weights and measures of landscape graphics. She is also a source of inspiration for oriental landscape painting, which aims to express the artist’s feelings, ideas and spiritual conception, rather than a faithful reproduction of nature.
